Multimac car seat - worth the money?!

We are expecting DC3 and are looking into car seat options. We have a 7yr Old and a 4yr Old. Having spoken to the advisors at one store, we understand we could legally and safely have a rear facing car seat for the baby, a high backed booster for the 4yo and the 7yo in the middle between them on a little booster. But we’re worried she’ll be a bit squished. We have a Vauxhall Insignia. Someone recommended a MultiMac to us (multimac.co.uk/what_it_is) but it’s very pricey. We think we could just about stretch to it if we compromise on other things. Does anyone have one? Is it worth the money?!

Waste of money imho
Your 7 year old may not need a car seat for much longer depending on their height

We have one. We bought it when our twins were 3 and our eldest dd was 8. It save us having to buy a new car as dd couldnt have fitted between the two car seats and certainly not on a booster seat. The eldest is now 12 and still fits in it. She has a normal seat belt now.

No it's until 12 years or 135 cm
135cm is not the average height of a 12 year old

That’s the UK minimum it’s taller in Europe.
