Evening all,

My DS has a mixture of EBM and formula. Up until now, we have been using disposal teats from the hospital (DS was prem and in hospital for 12 days). We need to move him to a more permanent type of bottle. I've tried a tommee tippee one and an avent one but we found DS can't suck quick enough and makes a mess. Can anyone suggest a make of bottle that has a good, slow release teat?

Many thanks xxx

No they are just normal shaped but very slow release!

Avent do a super slow one, it comes on the tiny 60ml bottles or you can buy them online separately. It's called first flow rather than newborn flow

I used them with my DD as she is breastfed and I didn't want her to be lazy and prefer the bottle (not sure i need to worry as I have a very forceful let down so not like she has to work hard)
