Advice on paracetamol after vaccine

Dd had vaccine today (8weeks) and had 1st dose of paracetamol at 15:30. Temp was high again at 20:05 so second dose given. I was going to try and hold out until 2am for next dose but temp is already 37.6.
I'm concerned if I give her all her doses now, she will have quite a period of time to get though before her 24 hr period is up and we can give more ...

Would you wait it out until 2am? Then 8/9am (my original plan) or would you give it all as and when needed and hope for the best after the fourth dose?

Could you give her baby nurofen? I’m not sure what age that’s suitable for so check first

Unfortunately not as it's from 12 weeks and she is only 9

They recommend you give the three doses advised when they are due to try and prevent the temps.

My LO has a horrid fever and was really upset after his and it was only after the third dose it seemed to finally settle him and we could all get some sleep! Give the third dose when it's due. You can always give a fourth dose if needed after a further four hours (we did and at the time I was a bit worried in case he was feverish again but he wasn't)
I think giving it regularly helped control it better than chasing a high temp once it's set in and the paracetamol is overdue iyswim.
