I’ve recently asked the school for extra days for my Lo which has been accepted (15hrs free + extra 15hours I will be paying for)
They’ve not asked me to sign a contract or anything, not sure if that’s how it works. But if Lo falls sick or doesn’t go in on the days I will be paying for, do I still have to pay? I’m going to Clear this with the school anyhow.

Yes you still have to pay if little one is ill or you go away or any other reason they don't go in for the paid sessions. It's frustrating but just one of those things! And if they go in for paid sessions but miss the free ones you can't swap them around so you don't pay, just in case you wondered.

Thank you for your reply. As I’ve never done this before and they know this, is it something they need to tell me? Or is it just meant to be common sense? Just thinking if I mention it they may say Yes you do, however if they haven’t told me, I would have known.... cheeky I know Grin

Your fees for nursery will be paid up front, so it's not a case of not having to pay, more that you won't get a refund.

Nurseries still need to pay to have the right number of staff, so wouldn't be able to refund your fees.

Surprising that you've had no kind of t&c or contract from them though.

viva they haven’t given me no contract & also asked if I would like to pay weekly or at the end of the month. So isn’t in advance. They have the same amount of staff regardless ( 4 staff members in a class) is there is 10 kids or 20 kids. As Friday’s is always a quiet day so always approx 10-12 kids
