Me and my OH are currently TTC. And i want any child we have to be able to speak another language - and the younger the better when learning languages right?
Just wondering if anyone has started with babies when theyre young teaching them British Sign Language? My niece was born deaf, and turns out my brother in law carries a gene that leads to the condition she has. We are currently unaware if my OH has it. Regardless of what happens, i know BSL and Makaton, and want to teach my children it as soon as possible to aid communication. As children will pick this up before they do verbal languages. Has anyone done this and had any success with it?
