@Myusername101z

Hand holding available.

It's a new phase.

Things do not necessary change overnight buy all things move on. A year is a good time and bsby moves on to toddler.

It's all part them growing too. Have you got good childcare?

You can do it! Mothers are super strong humans and this is all about helping you and your child to grow. Your baby will learn new skills and flourish in childcare, you will feel good to have a bit of grown up conversation and challenge, you are teaching your child that you have to work hard to achieve and earn things - see it as the next phase in your adventure. Good luck Smile

I returned to work 2 weeks ago after 11 months off!
Dont worry, I felt so sad about it for ages but now its the new normal and think its good for me and my son.
I was emotional and weepy but didnt actually find it as difficult as I had anticipated. In a way it was nice to be at work to get to finish a hot cup of tea and get my brain working in another way again!
I still miss my son SO much but it helps that a month before returning to work, he settled in really well with his childminder and seems happy there.
Its hard work though and only having a few hours in the evenings with him.
I do wish I could only work part time and will consider it in the future.

Chin up, it will be ok!
