There are adults playing this game with their own email addresses linked up to their accounts hence why they have access to the game. It’s easy to think such a thing wouldn’t be a danger because of the chat filters but there are ways to get around it and there’s always the chance that someone will friend your DC’s and instruct them to chat with them on a less restricted social media platform such as Instagram or snapchat which include private messaging features and are easy for anyone to sign up for. Some players of any age will try to have in-game virtual intercourse by jumping up and down on a lying down avatar and some will additionally make their avatar speak to make it more realistic by saying things such as “oh” and “oh yeah” “daddy” etc Countless children on AJPW are being scammed out of their items because of trickery from other players and even if you were to disable your DC’s ability to trade with other players your parent account could get hacked and filtered with if your DC’s are tech-savvy enough to do so and from your parent account they can also filter with their chat settings and much more. I’m aware that there are players sending an array of words that when spoken out loud sound like offensive remarks and are supposed to represent swear words intended to upset other players. I’ve seen evidence on YouTube that there are AJPW hackers that can hack into parent accounts and vandalise AJPW accounts belonging to other people. AJPW is addicting for the majority of those who play which is unfortunate because the game is directed at children who should be engaging in a wider variety of activities in the real world, but the game makes playing AJPW more enjoyable that being outside which prevents many kids from enjoying the REAL wilderness, hence why many parents struggle to take their kids devices from them There are people online who will attempt to instruct AJPW users to enter their or someone else’s personal details onto their website to claim “free” membership. (These websites are obviously scams but not every AJPW knows this) Personally the animal/mammal/insect etc facts are hard to digest and allot of players aren’t interested in the facts and more interested in getting in-game items and currency. While I’m on the topic of in-game currency, there are in-game purchases and if your DC’s have access to your banking information and/or you haven’t put restrictions on their devices to stop them from making purchases, they can buy membership on your behalf and in order to claim a refund you have to email AJPW HQ back and forth and then they permanently delete your DC’s account but even then they don’t always issue refunds and can sometimes be really difficult to talk to. I don’t think the game is suitable for anyone of any age what so ever.

My DC’s have had their iPad privileges taken away because they were all throwing fits when I announced they’re not allowed animal jam Anymore. They’ve been nagging me for weeks to get back on and I’m starting to lose my temper. I doubt I’m being unreasonable? Anyone have any advice for dealing with this? Confused
