Are you really poorly with slapped cheek?
My 3 year old DD has been unwell since last Saturday evening, high temp,lethargic, vomiting. Vomiting stopped Sunday morning, then mild rash appeared on cheeks & various parts of her body, so took her to the docs Monday who just said it was viral etc & to keep giving calpol, the rash has now gone but as the week has gone on there is still no improvement with her I've still been giving her calpol/nurofen but not really doing anything apart from bring her temperature back to normal for a few hours for it to slowly rises again. Therefore i decided yesterday i would take her to the doctor again this time asking for another gp, when getting there she had slightly rosy cheeks but i think that was down to the waiting room being warm so after explaining everything he diagnosed 'slapped cheek' however i'm still not sure if this is what she has? Would she still be this unwell after coming down with it last weekend? I just basically want to know if your DC have been ill like this with slapped cheek? Or is this more likely to be something else?
