Baby carrier for a short mum

Any suggestions for a good baby carrier for a short mum? I’m 5 foot 1 and looking for something fairly simple to use for my (big!) 4 month old. I’ve heard that the ergo baby omni 360 is good and fairly easy to resize so my husband could use it too. Any thoughts?

Hi
Porte mon Bebe really good. I use it for my one year old and have been using it since two months. Boyfriend also uses it and I imagine we will contunue using it for a while. It’s little known as it’s french, but I really like mine

I’m short (5ft2) and love my Connecta. Easily adjustable for taller people and goes from birth without insert to 2 and a half years. Pretty patterns too! Smile

Have you got a sling library you can visit: they do advice and safe carrying/fitting instructions (so many people wear them incorrectly, it’s scary!). They also loan them so you can try before you buy :)

I’m only 5ft and use the Ergobaby 360. It’s comfortable for me and my husband (he’s 6ft). Still using it for DC2 so it was a good buy.

I am pretty much your height with a ridiculously short torso, and was recommended the ergo Omni 360 by my even smaller SIL. We have only used it a few times so far but size-wise it seems like a good fit for me. The main advantage is that the straps can be worn crossed over at the back so it's good if you're short and also if you have a narrow back/small frame as the straps don't slip.

Thanks everyone! There is a sling library but annoyingly it’s only once a month and I’ve got other things booked so couldn’t get to one until April! I think I will order the ergo omni 360, being able to cross over the straps seems good for my back.
@LeeMiller and @BrightStarrySky do you have the regular one or the one with mesh inserts? Wondering if the mesh one is a good bet as I can always wrap him up warmer in winter but it might be cooler for summer and holidays.
