Advice on whether inclining a crib is safe

Hi there I have a LO who suffers from reflux we have a chicco next to me crib which we just use as a cot isn't linked to our bed. I was wondering if it was safe to incline it slightly on one side as it has this setting on the legs but I am not sure if this is safe or not obviously it would only be inclined slightly and the mattress remains flat but didn't know if there were any other issues or an increased risk of SIDS at all? Thanks

DD had reflux - I think the advice is to have quite a steep incline. We did this in the next to me, I think we had at least two steps difference between the ends, probably more at times.

However, I believe there isn't actually much evidence that it actually helps. We also found that DD slept poorly when inclined (confirmed when she was older and we inclined for colds), although that may just be her. Just a warning that it may not be a magic solution!

Flowers to you, reflux is hell. Time and ranitidine worked for us, I hope you get past it as quickly as possible.

You can buy a reflux wedge from
Amazon or wedgehog website which can go under the mattress or on top. We used it from 8 weeks and it has helped
