Anxiety , coping methods

I am anxious generally and a worrier. Ds is not 6 MTHS and happy/healthy and I go abck to work soon.
I'm very anxious about everything at the momment, worrying about D's sleeping and fact he has a cold. Coping with lack of money due to mat pay and having moved house, so lots of unknown costs and lists of things I need to do which are neverending. Worries of coping with work and baby, worry over dp having D's two days while I work (he seems to ignore him a lot which worries me but he says I'm just worrying!).
Any advice on managing anxiety over all of this, even though it's just normal real life stuff I'm starting to struggle to cope?

Example of not coping, didn't sleep last night and spent a few hours crying this morning as I burned his lunch

Hey, I’m really sorry as I have no magic words of advice, but just wanted you to let you know I feel exactly the same. Pretty much everything you have put im feeling! Also with feeling like my daughter hates me. For no reason really..she’s nearly 5 months. I’ve finnaly decided I possibly need to get a bit of help and am booked into have a chat to someone this morning. Crying and feeling down so much can’t be good for me or baby. I thought the feeling might have gone away by now which is why I’m only just doing something about it as they don’t seem to be shifting. You never know, talking things through with someone may help. :)

Please go and speak to your GP and/or HV who will understand and will be able to help. Do you feel you can talk to your partner? Do you get any "me time" or do any exercise to help you take your mind off everything? Flowers

I ahve no time for exercise. I used to swim and run or kickboxing pre baby. I'm struggling as he's very clingy now he's slightly older.
I'm feeling a bit low and stressed. The HV has advised some sleep methods to try and help baby which I'm going to do.

I'm sorry to hear your suffering, it is a condition and not something you can just actively control or decide not to worry.

Simple things to do that might help are stopping drinking coffee and fizzy drinks - I notice my anxiety peaks at night if I've had either of these during the day.

Get fresh air every day. You'll probably feel anxious about getting out but when you're out you'll feel better for it.

Book in to see your doctor, some meds are good and will help you be able to lead a better quality of life.
