10 month old naps

My DS is almost 10 months and doesn't want his morning nap. I put him down 2hrs after he wakes in the morning but he's just standing up /messing about in his cot!

He has a lunchtime nap for around 1hr30 but I can't adjust the times too much as I'm restricted by the school run.

Is 10 months too young to drop the first nap?! My other 2 DC dropped theirs around 15months ...

Hello, sorry to say my ten month old has dropped his! He did exactly the same. Standing up in his cot etc. on the flip side it does mean you tend to get a good chunk of nap after lunch.. usually around 2 hours! Hope you get a break soon
