How do I push a nap forward?

My daughter is nearly 10 months and has just dropped her afternoon nap completely. Unfortunately this means that she has her morning nap between 10:30 - 12:30, which means she starts to get cranky about 17:30 in the evening.

I was wondering if anyone might have any tips for pushing the morning nap till more of an early afternoon one?

Have you been brave enough to cut short her morning nap so she sleeps midafternoon

My DS still had two naps at just over 12 months so not experience what you have. But as PP suggested have you tried only allowing an hour in the morning (maybe a bit earlier) to ensure they are tired by afternoon??

I tried cutting it down before, but then she gets even more cranky. She still sleeps for 12 hours every night and goes to bed at 7, so it seems like a pretty good routine?

I think I'll try to push it forward little by little and see how that works. Thank you

Yeah keep her up for as long as you can is probably a better idea .
