DD is still breastfed as she is allergic to dairy and I chose to continue feeding rather than go down the route of replacement hypoallergenic formula.
I would like to stop feeding altogether in the next couple of months.
DD currently feeds when she wakes in the morning, just before her 1 daily nap and before bed in the evening.
If I'm out in the evening she will happily accept a cup of oatmilk before bed and at nursery she doesn't have any milk before her nap. Also if we're out for the day she will nap in the car/pushchair without being fed. But at home she very much expects a feed before her nap.
Dropping feeds was fairly seamless pre-12 months and I'm kicking myself for not dropping the post-lunch nap feed while DD was less knowing (iyswim!)
She is now 20 months and I would like some advice on how to drop the naptime feed.
I've tried today and although she went into her cot happily she is now crying and will want to be fed.
Can anyone help?
