DS has been quite unsettled at night this last week. One night was particularly bad and unfortunately despite our best efforts to settle him did result in crying and upset on his part (and ours haha). Anyway, since then I have noticed his grizzle/cry sounds different. Like he has a sore throat but he doesn't seem to be in pain with it. No difficulty swallowing, feeding fine etc and happy to play. But when he cries it is noticeably different from his normal cry. Higher pitched and his voice almost gives out. He doesn't cough with it from what I have noticed. I am worried his throat is damaged or something?! Do you think this warrants a doctor trip if he is well in himself? TIA :)
