A positive change you've made in your life

In light of it being a new year and many people including myself hoping to make some good new habits and positive changes I thought it'd be motivating to hear what others do that brings them joy or just makes life a little better/easier/happier etc.

It can be something really small like making your bed every morning to set your day off (something I need to do more 😳), to having a weekly date night to improve your relationship or something really big!

Personally, I've found cutting down on a lot of social media has brought me a lot more happiness as I've stopped caring and comparing so much. Also I've enjoyed writing out to do lists a lot this past year and have found ticking little tasks off has made boring jobs a lot more rewarding to complete !

Making an effort not to say “not tonight” to sex. We’re almost two weeks in and we are so much closer.

In an attempt to reduce screen time we have started taking tablets off kids at 6pm and doing jigsaws, stories, board games or card games - their choice, in the lead up to bed time.
It’s making us actually spend proper time with them. No phones, screens, just playing WITH them which we normally don’t do. They love it and I feel like a smug mummy!

I got a new job recently and I'm trying to make an effort to really throw myself into it and work extra hard to move upward and start saving money !
