Joie 360 spin combination -help!

Currently sat at work stressing about the car seat!

Purchase the above for the in-laws as they will be looking after her for one day a week now I'm back in work.

DH installed it in their car over the weekend however on dropping DD off this morning and checking the car seat, they've had issues with loosening the straps (they press the release button and the straps won't loosen) and they also can't get the thing out of the car even after pressing the release buttons!

I've had lots of ranting messages over this which has helped on my first day back to work

Anyone else had or overcome these issues? Help!!

I will add I was completely defeated by dgs car seat 🧐

Oh dear little! To be clear it was my husband sending ranting messages, not the in-laws who are very lovely and placid. Don't know where he gets it from!!

All sorted now I think, phew

Pressing the release button isn't meant to loosen the straps. You know the strap you pull to tighten the straps? If you stick your finger inside the hole that's coming out of, you'll find a little lever you can press down. With that pressed down, you can pull the straps looser.

Just been told it is a common problem that the Joie 360 get stuck in cars. I tried to contact Joie but as it was the weekend they do not offer support so had to use a hammer to remove it from my sister in-laws car. Customer service told me they could have resolved this if I had contacted them first 😂
