DD is 2.4 and is potty trained to perfection but only when unclothed. As soon as bottom half has clothing on she forgets to use the potty. This has been going on for a week. I'm inclined to put her back in nappies or is this something that I should work at, bearing in mind that i'm in and out of the house each day and we are going abroad in 3 weeks time.

When you say clothed do you mean pants or pants and trousers/skirts?

If pants and trousers/skirts i would just start with pants.

My DS is 2.1 and he has been dry during the day for about 3 weeks now. At first he used to wee when i put pants on him but we just kept reminding him he was wearing big boy pants not a nappy. After about two weeks it clicked and havnt had a problem since.
I think they get confused about when they are wearing nappies or pants so we made a rule that he understood that we always wear pants in the house unless its bedtime.
Good Luck!

When I say clothing on I mean anything: pants, just trousers/skirt with no pants, or everything. I've seen so much of her bum recently. She did have a day earlier in the week where she managed it all afternoon when she was wearing just trousers but nothing since.

Have to say we did the 'big boy'pants things and as my ds wants nothing more than to be a big boy he responded to this.

We did the same about pants during the day and nappy at night.

Mil used pull up pants when he was with her for the week and he went backwards as I don;t think they can feel when they have weed so i wouldn;t use those again.

Is annoying, is messy but I do think it is a 'click' thing that when she clicks with whatever the problem is -not getting the signals fast enough, not knowing what the signals mean etc.

I know what you mean about pull ups, we don't use them through the day but if i'm out for a few hours I don't have much choice. I wish I was able to stay in the house but ATM I can't. September would be such a better time for this. Like i said she's perfect when naked just not when clothed. Do I persist or leave it a while?
