Yes,used it from birth to 5 months for my DD. She loved it from day one as she could curl up in warm water and it instantly soothed her. Midwife was v impressed

Great for a newborn but they do grow out of them fairly quickly. Borrow one if you can.

DS loved his from birth, and grew out of it at around 6 months.
