How much screen time if any at all do you let your little one watch? And what is their age?

What age is yours?
I have 3 but they're maybe quite a bit older.

Mine are nearly 4 and nearly 7, probably 3 hours of tv a day but spread out. They’re not into tablets/phone games. DS1 will sometimes play Nintendo switch games with DH.

Mine are 12 and 15 and they have always had an hour of TV a day.

They also now probably spend half an hour on their phones a day as well.

14, 11, 9. Loads of screen time. They watch TV, they play games, they use their laptops for homework and their kindles for reading. Most of their time is spent on screens.

My son is 18 months. Two weeks ago I let watch a few YouTube videos like twinkle twinkle little star. Prior to that he used to love to play with his toys and would entertain himself pretty wherever he was. Ever since he's watch a little bit of tv, that's all he wants to do! He's no longer interested in his toys, h even go new ones for Xmas. And cries for the phone all day. It's very annoying. I regret letting him watch tv but my friends and dh made me feel bad as if I were depriving him. I didn't have an issue with a little bit a day but I can't believe how much it's made his behaviour change. And since he's becoming very whiny tos the phone dh gets frustrated and gives him the phone to go on YouTube. It's getting a little out of control. As soon as he wakes up, phone, after breakfast, phone, I try and take him on a walk and he cries and points to tv. This is dh giving him phone to mAke him stop crying btw. Him and I got into an argument over it. I told him he can't sit and watch YouTube videos all day. Which is why I asked. I'm think an hour a day and being firm about it.
