Alphamummies - how many do you know personally?

For the sake of this thread, I'll define alphamummy with a pretty loose definition.

  • works full-time and earns over £100 K
  • married with husband working full-time and earning over £100 K
  • at least two children who have got as far as secondary school without any hiccups
  • no career breaks, divorces

How many women do you know personally (school friend, university friend, colleague, family member, neighbour) who have been doing the alphamummy thing for at least 11 years?

OMG, I live in a country full of alphamummies.
For example, sports day. Its a day for the mums really. There is a big (secret) competition for who can make the best, and most exciting childrens picnic lunch on this day. Carrots are cut into star shapes, sausages made into octopus shapes (quite ingenious really). But nah, its not all bad- at least theyre not living vicariously through their kids. Seriously- the kids are not the point. Competing with other mums is.

(I love some of these ladies really :-)

Sakura - no, that was very interesting. Are Japanese Alphamummies a big deal in the media / talked about in society?

Don't know if anybody else has asked this, but are the men in this partnership who make 100K a year alpha daddies who all share character traits whether they make their 100K playing darts, being surgeons or as hairdressers?
