Hi all,

Ftm to 16 week old baby girl. Feel like the dreaded sleep regression stage has hit us. The past 5 days/nights her naps have drastically shortened, within 15-20 minutes of putting her down she wakes up hysterical. Then from 2am onwards she's waking up every hour. Have resorted to either nurse or rock back to sleep I also swaddle her but she's showing signs of being able to roll over soon so I'll have to stop that soon, I actually want to pull my own eyes out through sheer exhaustion. Please tell me it gets better???

I feel I can’t help too much here. But I once spoke with a nanny who didn’t believe in sleep regression and believed the baby to be hungry. Have you tried giving her a bit more feed in the day/before bed?

Going through this at the moment...no wise words but I feel your pain! We’re just doing what we need to to help her get through it and get as much sleep as we can (feed, rock...) hopefully it’ll pass soon!

It's horrific isn't it. She's had two 20 minute naps today and that's it. Don't know how she's not knackered!.
