What age should a child rise well on a bike with stabilisers and what age without?

Depends on the child... DS cycled before he could walk by pulling himself up on his sister's bike and pedalling about. DD was about 7. Other kids in-between or older.

Mine was just turned 5. I'm sure that it happened so easily cos she had a balance bike. Balance bike all the way before proper bike

GreenTulips · 03/01/2019 16:03

All mine were 5 and under without stabilizers could ride with at about 2

Lots of kids aim for 7/10 years

Go with it if they are interested
