Going off a previous thread of mine, I thought it would be helpful to show my dd what other parents have their children doing round the house.
This is what I ask of her (in the holidays, it's obv less when she's at school)
Put dirty clothes in laundry basket
Tidy room (about 2x a week)
Scrape plate after eating and put by the sink
Wash or dry the dishes (about 3/4 times a week)
That's all really.
I think this is really the very minimal but I'd like others experiences x

mine take turns to lay the table for dinner, clear the table, load the dishwasher.
occasionally i ask them to sort the washing and put thiers away
feed the guinea pigs
help clean out the guinea pigs
keep bedrooms tidy
hoover the stairs with the dustbuster

if we are doing a big clean they help to clean the windows/mirrors
help tidy/sort etc

the main thing is to be responsible for herself and not create extra work for me. So much as your list really - dirty clothes in laundry, clean clothes put away, plates/cups into dishwasher, room tidy, packing own bags and lunches (I make sandwiches but the DC assemble the lunches IYSWIM). Also setting the table, feeding the cats and emptying the dishwater taken in turns with her sister.
