Films for a 10yo?

DC1 (10) and I snugged up and watched 'Wonder' a couple of nights ago. He really enjoyed it and we had some great mini-chats as we watched. He said he'd like to watch some more 'grown-up' films together, but I'm a bit out of the loop!

Any recommendations?

Not totally grown up but the Percy Jackson films are pretty cool for that age?

Also the movie Stormbreaker?

I'm trying to think back 4 years and DS was completely obsessed with Titanic Grin

I'll look those up, thanks!

I think I'll give Titanic a miss. Not sure either of us can sit still for THAT long! Grin

All the 80s ones? Back to the future, Indiana Jones, breakfast club, st Elmos fire (although might be a bit too grown up).

I haven’t seen wonder but I’ve read the book - maybe the fault is in our stars might be similar?

DD1 recently enjoyed Men in Black, and the Branagh version of Murder on the Orient Express. She got Wonder on DVD for Christmas, and we're watching it this weekend so I'm glad to hear it's good!
