Baby has got a cold I think

My baby has got his first proper cold I think. He’s 3 months.

He threw up a few days ago, hasn’t thrown up since and threw up today. I think it’s the mucus at the back of the throat that’s making him throw up as it happens after he’s coughed. He’s got a blocked nose and loads of boogies so using saline drops and sucking them out.

Otherwise he’s fine, no temp, seems himself and drinking loads and normal amount.

Should I ring doctors or not? Don’t want to ring for the sake of ringing if he’s got no temp.

I wouldn't be too concerned as it definitely sounds like I cold. However, if you're worried, just call the doctors for some advice. I've been told on multiple occasions that a doctor would prefer to see you and send you away reassured, than not see you at all. Hope your little one gets better soon xx

I’ve just been with my 4 month old for a cold / cough that wasn’t shifting. They always tell me they never mind seeing babies - they can go from fine to super sick so quick. Always worth a quick trip to the docs when they’re so young :)
