Does anyone know if midwives can refer direct to specialist units, e.g. women’s physio, ENT? Or do you have to go via GP?

Hi.
My midwife referred me to physio

Yes they can

Presumably only for pregnancy related issues though!

They can only refer you for pregnancy related issues such as physio for pelvic girdle pain, or refer you for consultant led care for health conditions which may be effected by your pregnancy or for issues with your pregnancy. Anything else you would need your GP to make the referral.
