Baby girl 8 weeks old we are finally on neocate which has helped massively she pooing on her own which she hasn't done since 4 days old no more blood eczema cleared up rash isn't as bad but her silent reflux is so bad we can't have gaviscon due to constipation and we can't have carobel as she reacted to that too. We see our ped next week for the first time finally!!!! She is currently on randiate it helps but not for long. She is such a happy baby that has been through so much since birth she gone from drinking 5 ounce bottles to 1-3 ounces because of the pain she also gaining weight very slowly she was born 9.2 and is only 10.12 8 weeks later and I'm yet to weigh her again to see if she gained or lost since taken less milk.

I'm asking what other things can we use for the reflux. She chokes in her sleep screams after feeds it's so bad !

Bless you. I have been there with both my DS. We used to keep them upright for 90 minutes after a feed (which was hell), but then they tended to sleep undisturbed for 90 minutes. We also used an Angelcare monitor be cause my boys used to choke in the night. Medics don't recommend them, but after one of ours went blue, it helped us to be able to sleep at all. We ended up on lansoprazole, via omeprazole, but I think that is weight-dependent. Domperidone was the best but has since been almost stopped as it has cardiac implications.

I never found an answer for the lessening milk consumption, other than dream feeding if possible.

Hang on in there. Mine are now 10 and 8 and those desperate early days seem a long time ago.
