Isofix question

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice about Isofix. We have the Silver Cross car seat and are now about to buy a base. Does anyone know which bases it fits with? I don’t want to buy the SC one if it’s only compatible with that one car seat because when we move to a toddler seat I’d like to use the same base. Thanks in advance!

Bases tend to be brand specific. Also toddler seats don't tend to need a base

Maxi Cosi do a base that can also be used with a toddler seat (family fix), their infant carriers are compatible with some of the silver cross systems too. Could look at that if you're able to exchange the one you have & it's important to have a reusable base.

Sorry not sure if my post is clear, you'd need a Maxi Cosi car seat and base (as pp they are brand specific so need to match), but Maxi Cosi seats will fit on some of the Silver Cross systems.

We have an isofix rear facing toddler seat (Cybex Sirona M2 I size) and it doesn’t have a base. None of the ones I looked at did.

Halfords are good for getting advice. - I went in with the car seat and they showed me the right base etc and how to fit it. (I ended up buying it second hand as very pricey)
