Anyone thinking of or moved back to The UK

Anyone here that moved back to the uk with kids from abroad? Or thinking about it? (our kids are 10 and 13, and moved abroad when they were 2 and 5).

I want to move out of UK! Too cold and so rainy. For me it's all about quality of life and I don't get quality in England unfortunately. I grew up my whole life in California so that's proBably why it's so hard for me to adjust.

I was abroad for 18 months when my DD was a baby (moved when she was newborn) and part of coming back was to be near family etc. Had my DS in the UK, but have since moved abroad again. UK just isn't for us, it seems! I can't see us going back any time in the next decade or so. My kids are still v small though, 4 and 1. You never know what life will throw at you but if things go as planned, we will continue to live abroad for long time yet.

What has you thinking about going back? What do your kids think?

Sorry that should say my DD was born in the UK and we moved abroad when she was newborn... came back when she was 18 months old
