Newborn vomit

My 5 week old LB was sleeping and it's been 2 hours since his last feed. I'm EBF. He woke up choking so I picked him up and winded him and he vomited 3 times what looked to be curdled milk. I had winded him before putting him down to sleep and he had burped several times. He had a bit of a whimper and seemed tired and floppy after. I changed his nappy and his sternum was fine and nappy also fine and filled. His temp is 36.7c, which I know is fine. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Is this normal? And will it go away?

Just to add he seems fine now and eventually started to cry and is now feeding again.

I think him being floppy would be enough for me to want him checked out.

The curdled milk sick sounds like what my little one had, it just happened from time to time. I think sometimes they get a bit gassy and then when they have more milk on top it makes them sick. As long as it isn't happening all the time I wouldn't worry too much, just keep an eye for if it seems to be constant or worse. It's also fine to worry, I still worry about all sorts with my baby and she's 7months now!
