4 month old sleep pattern - help!

My 4 month old can only seem to stay awake for an hour / hour 15 max before needing a nap. Then she naps for 30 / 45mins. I’ve tried resettling her but it doesn’t work - once she’s up she’s up! But then gets there again so quick - I’m assuming because of the cat naps.

Just wondering if this is normal? Or if not, If there is anyway I can fix it? I feel she’d benefit from more of a schedule I.e defined nap times but it’s impossible...if she wants to sleep she wants to sleep as when she’s up she’s up?!

It sounds normal. I really don't think you can establish any sort of schedule or solid routine so early. My baby is 3.5 months and I just let him nap when he needs/wants to, same with feeds. Just follow his lead with it all. They will get themselves into their own routines when they are ready.

Totally normal at that age they're not supposed to be able to stay awake for much longer than that. She's only 4 months just let her sleep when she wants to sleep eventually as she gets older she'll fall into her own schedule. My dd is 7 months and it's constantly changing.
