Do you go to bed at the same time as your little one? I'm struggling to make this work! He starts getting sleepy at 7pm you see. Thank you for any advice

How old? I had to for a bit. But now i nurse him to sleep in bed. Chill out next to him listen for long slow breaths for deep sleep and then put barriers up, moniter on and go down. Mine is 9months tho. Its recommended to be in the room at less than 6 months old

Its not always smooth now, occasionally im up a few times before i go to bed.

Dd is 7 months and goes to bed at 7 I I feed her to sleep then crawl out of bed. She's usually gone for the evening and I dream feed her when I get back in later on.

I would settle my baby by feeding to sleep then rolling away. I’d put a pillow on either edge of the bed to avoid them rolling off, and watch really closely on the video monitor. It worked well for us!

Mine usually wakes up if I trying to put her down so for now she still sleeps on me.

I put mine down in his cot and keep resettling as needed until my bedtime. Then I bring him in with me the first time he wakes up after my bedtime.

I feed 10mo DS to sleep and wait till he's in a deep sleep, then creep away.

The double bed is against the wall on the right side and head. We have an ornamental cot at the foot of the bed and a large bed guard on the left.

I use baby monitors to check he's safe while I go downstairs but mostly go to bed myself

When mine were little and non-mobile they’d either go to sleep in a wrap with us or upstairs by themselves (they couldn’t go anywhere anyway). But then later in a cot until after we came to bed so they were safe and not falling off the bed. I need my evenings to myself and definitely don’t want to be going to bed that early!

DD was mobile by 6 months so we put the mattress in the floor and made sure the room was child proof.

Thank you all for the great advice. He's coming up to 12 weeks. To be honest I love going to sleep when he does but I'm not always tired weirdly. But I just wanted to know for when he gets older. Thank you!
