As I totally want to steal ideas? Grin

My son is 2 in February so I'd like to try and pick things up in the sale.

We've already got him the Happyland plane and Learn to Count (think that's BigJigs), and we're also getting him a raincoat ready for Spring.

Any other ideas for presents? He's got very generous grandparents and uncles who want to get things for him, so I have no clue!!

He's had a bunch of Happyland stuff today from various family members, plus Playdoh, a shopping till, and also some Toot Toot stuff.

My just turned 2 year olds favourite things are his wooden train track and his wooden indoor climbing frame. He loves pretend food too, I got him wooden ice lollies, wooden sushi, and wooden macaroons with Velcro fillings for Christmas/birthday.

With the wooden train track, Hape do some brilliant add ons for younger toddlers. Xylophone track, monkeys in a tree that pop out when you push the train over etc, rainbow coloured track etc. Lidl and Smyths have had their own version of that kind of track in too. We also have a train table with lots of bridges and tunnels with lights and noises he absolutely loves. I think Smyths sell the train table with full track.

Mine have never been interested in Happyland until the top end of the age range and above.
