help with clingy son

hi I was wondering if some one can give me some advice I'm not sure this is the right place but I'm having trouble with my son who is 8 years old age he has been referred for autism so we was in a refuge for 9 months me and my two kids due to violence from there dad we are currently going thought courts as he wants to see the kids but the kids don't wanna see him my issue is that I'm having trouble with my son and really would like some advice with is as he has become so clingy with me I cant go to the toilet as he follows me he thinks some think is going to happen to me he fears if he leave me even going to school he fights with him sister and has meltdowns over the slightest thing ,he a fussy eater and love his textures he currently goes to bed with one of my jumper he wont sleep at night to about 10 I have asked for help but no one seen to want to help me and I really don't know what to do if any one can give me some advice would be great full

Hi @tylor1919 sorry to hear you're having a tough time. It sounds that your son is feeling unsettled by your circumstances and is craving reassurance and comfort. I am sure you are doing all that you can to reassure him that he is safe but he is at an age where he can understand more and clearly this is affecting his behavior. Have you got family and others around you who can support you at all?

Not really it’s been a year since we left the father and it’s since we have been in refuge he has gotten worse he used to hit me he stopped and now he started again Iv asked for help from doctors but no one seems to wanna help me it breaks my heart every day seeing him get so upset I don’t know what I can do to help him I give him all the time I can
