How do I make my 2 year old give it up?

My 2 year old daughter has a habit of wanting to go to sleep by putting her hand down my chest and clutching the butterfly on my bra. Any suggestions on how to stop this habit as would like to get my evening back! Be so much easier if it was a dummy!

Have you got a DH? Get him to put her to bed and don’t be in the house. At this time of year you could go Shopping or meet friends Smile

Take bra off or i wear a massive dressing gown (my little one scratches my chest).

Say 'no' Hmm or at least wear a different bra. Or give her the bra to cuddle.

Agree with Jilted, if you have a DP/DH just get him to put your DD to bed.

Trying controlled crying at the moment...oh unhelpfully came upstairs halfway through to take her downstairs as thought it was too long. Not that he's ever been much help! Ignored the fact I'd gone in 5 minutes previous to check on her.

Can you stitch the butterfly on a Teddy for her?

InDubiousBattle · 19/12/2018 21:17

Give her the bra?

Love the idea of stitching it to a teddy ( although does that create an issue if the teddy is then lost).

Or just take your bra off so the association is broken.
