So just one day off 8 weeks? I can't see a problem. Its more that you have to have at least 4 weeks between jabs. So the next lot would need to be 11 weeks 6 days or after

Yeah just 1 day. I just want to know if any others have done this too

If she'd been born a day earlier they'd be on time. Why are you bothered about one day?

It won't harm your baby one day.

Other people keep saying oh no it neeedss to be on 8 weekd ! So heres me panicking what if they wont do it

But they booked it? They have his birthdate. So stop listening to gossip and listen to the medical professionals. They will only refuse to do it if the baby has a temperature as that will affect the vaccination

It might be worth double checking with your surgery as mine turn you away if the child is too young.

Kknightxx · 19/12/2018 13:55

But its the receptionist who booked it , are they expected to know this ??

Gp here, you should flag that up or you may be turned away. We're not allowed to give them even one day early.

FourCandelabras · 19/12/2018 17:57

Check with the gp surgery - I was booked in a day or two early (by the receptionist) with my daughter for her 8 week jabs, and when we got to the appointment and the nurse checked her details, we were sent away...

I did end up ringing the doctors in the end. She isnt aloud her jabs 1 day early, so is now booked for a week later instead (1 day before she turns 9 weeks) they said thats fine
