Hi all,

Just bought my little premmie superstar home today and over the last fortnight, we have realised how much he loves peeing and getting it everywhere!! Does anyone know what size/brand/fit of a mattress protector I can get to protect the mattress in the uppa baby vista pram?

Many thanks xxx

You shouldn't need one really....is he in the right size nappies? Congratulations on your new arrival anyway!

Hippychick do flat sheet style mattress protectors, we used the crib sized ones in our Vista bassinet. They are not cheap but last well and because they aren’t fitted you can use in cot as well.

Any sheet designed for a Moses basket will work.

As a pp says though, it sounds like he might not be in the right size nappy or they are being put on too tightly or loosely- an occasional leak or pooplosion will happen, but it shouldn’t be so regular you need to buy extra equipment!

We had a Cruz and just used Moses basket fitted sheets

I had a vista and used regular bassinet flat sheets, and a muslin across the head area in case they were a bit sick/dribbled/etc to save on the washing

Thank you all! Nappies fit is a problem as he is premmie and slightly too small for the 0 size nappies so we do get a bit of leakage!

Make sure you're pulling the frilly bits of the nappies around the legs out to help stop leaks

Hi I have the uppababy basinnet. For all my other mattresses I have bought a waterproof mattress protector. Would this be recommended for basinnet too? Also would it be a standard Moses mattress protector id need? Would I use the one uppababy supplied also? Or would that be too much?
