My son started reception this year, he loves his school. Bought a present for his class teacher and ta. But there are others teacher like music, pe, French, forest school whom he conta t once a week but he knows all of them. Do I need to send card or gift to all of them? And the head teacher as well. He is my 1st child and need some advice about it.

I wouldn't personally send gifts to the ones he sees once a week or The HT but a card is nice especially if handmade.

A box of chocs to office staff usually goes down really though.. !

No, definitely not. Classroom teacher and TA, but I don’t even do year end gifts for the head.

Thank you. I might go with a card for the head teacher. My son says there is another lady in his class who helps them, I don't know if she is another ta or not. Is it the last day of school to send the gift to the teacher with my son? Or do I need to give it to the teachers by myself.

When my ds had a variety of staff in class then I would do a box of chocs for the class team as well as an individual token gift for class teacher and main TA if there was one. I would often do a large tub of chocs for the whole staff specifying that they were for office, dinner and cleaning staff as well as I really appreciated the extra mile they went to to support us. Currently though I have been less impressed with the school so I will only buy for teacher and class team!!!
