I have recently started to wash with eco balls and miss the laundry 'smell' so i've been adding a few drops of lavender essential oil in the conditioner drawer and it smells lovely!

So i've just been surfing and bought a whole load of bulk essential oils- including lavender, tea tree (for the nappies!), sweet orange and spearmint for cleaning- they were really cheap as i bought them in big quantities and so hopefully should last forever!

Just wondered if there was anything else you suggest.

Good idea to add to conditioner though.

yup it is! it is only sweet orange- very cheap 30p per 10ml bottle, wholesale prices though as i have a vat number! The lavender cost 40.50 for a litre, i guess orange is just a cheaper oil! Saffron oil was about 180 quid for 100ml!

where did you get them from nearlythere? I always use absolute aromas for my essential oils that I use for aromatherapy massage and treatments

idaromatics.co.uk- i will let you know how i get on- the oils should arrive in a few days!

the little bottles will costa bomb though wont they? my chemist do them for 99p a little bottle. - a litre - hck that will ermmm last a long time lol!!!

i think its only worth while if you want loads of the stuff! I got litre bottles and some spare 10ml/30ml bottles as i can sell tea tree and lavender through the shops for nappy-heads, it will work out cheaper for my customers than buying it from the health food shop at £5.99 for 10ml!!!!!

Price also comes down to the way the oil is processed, which affects the quality and consequently the benefits, I would be careful what you use them for TBH.

these people are good but not as cheap as you've got.

I make my own air freshener with essential oils as well - just add some to water, put it in an old plastic sprayer (so you don't have to send it to the landfill!) give a good shake and a quick squirt when necessary. Works really well, and keeps the bathroom fresh for hours!
