Hi all. 10 month DS was really ill all weekend, we ended up in hospital for being dehydrated on Sunday. Anyway lots of sips of water and rest and by the end of Monday he was all good. About an hour after he kept some food down I started vomiting etc. Horribly. Luckily DP was here and took baby for the night and I think I'm over the worst. Sipping water and haven't been ill in a few hours. My question is, I've now got to look after DS today... can I pass it back to him or will he be immune to this one now?

Unless he has a low immune system he shouldn't catch it again.

I think you get around 3 months immunity from norovirus. I believe adults are immune to rotavirus so if you have it it might be norovirus he had. I could be making all this up though so it might be worth a Dr Google
