That my 3.5month old daughter will just lie there in her cot in the dark sucking her hands / generally just being fine being alone. She has been cat napping for only 30mins at a time so I’ve decided to leave her this morning and watch her on the monitor to see how long it takes for her to either cry for me or hopefully just go back to sleep. As Ive tried resettling her but it doesn’t work.

Currently 25 mins so will go get her in 5...this isn’t the first time it’s happened either! Feel like I could leave her all morning and she wouldn’t be bothered..

My friends baby is like that. Tbh it seemed so strange to me as I have a strong willed high needs baby. I used to secretly think something was wrong with her baby, but as he's getting older (almost 6 months) he seems to be developing just fine and is a smiley, happy baby.
I only WISH my baby could be so laid back. Enjoy it.

My 4 month old boy is the same. Very laid back, everyone tells me he’s a “easy” baby. SIL says im lucky because my nieces wanted constant attention so id say dont worry and enjoy.

I would just enjoy it, sounds like you have a lovely content little girl.
I don't think my DS has been that still, whilst awake, since he was born lol I wouldn't think it strange at this stage, enjoy having a lie in "baby watching".

Definitely not weird, but maybe not common. My DD, who is now almost 18 months, has pretty much been the same for as long as I can remember. Every morning, she's quite happy waking up slowly, dozing, babbling, until I get her. Sometimes it's been as long as an hour - because she's woken up so early, but hasn't cried or whinged, and then has actually gone back to sleep! If she cries, we grab her.
