Car seats-reduced in new year?

Hello all!
Been looking at the cyber sirona s car seat and decided that that’s the car seat for me. What I am wondering is, is there a peak time to buy them reduced? Do I need to look in the new year sales? FTM and no idea when to purchase. I already have a seat, so no rush to replace immediately.
Found it for £255 on the Mothercare site and £219 on a couple of sites I haven’t heard of.

IME they don't tend to be reduced by much in standard sales but you could be lucky!

Thank you! I may just buy it now then. Has anyone purchased or heard of Uber kids or the baby room?? These two online retailers are showing it the cheapest but don’t want to buy from them if they aren’t reputable?

Mothercare reduced this car seat in the Black Friday offers so could do again (sorry I know that's not very helpful after the event!).

Mothercare also price match against certain other shops so might price match against Uber kids? You have to buy in-store for them to add the price match but worth a phone up before going so you don't have a wasted trip. Mothercare have reduced certain colours on this car seat too in the past.

Hey don’t worry! I’m going to ask about price matching in mother care. Checked John Lewis but it came up saying they don’t price match Uber kids as there’s no store......but they have a store in north wales so I’m going to call them as well. Thanks for your help!

I was in same position last year looking for this car seat on offer. Beware some of the cheaper places selling without the base. I got John Lewis to price match Mamas and Papas at about £220 I think.

@wineymummy I’ve also seen the same car seat that has a chest thing that sends messages to your mobile using an app, seems like an expensive extra. Did you get this and if so, is it needed?
