Baby asleep on front

DD is 5.5mo and has spent the past two nights perfecting her back to front roll. Unfortunately, front to back still eludes her and I've been rescuing her at various points in the night when she calls me.

Tonight she's fallen asleep on her front, her head is to the side. Do I move her to her back? I know she could roll back again once I'm asleep but should I do it while I'm up? WWYD?

I would have moved her back. It’s exhausting when they can roll onto their front but can’t roll back, but it’s not for long Smile

Thanks for replying! I moved her back in the end. Can't wait for her to master rolling back again !

My son has been doing this since the start of September and immediately wakes up crying as soon as he is on his front. It's exhausting. Usually we only manage 40 minutes between turning him back over and him crying out again. He is showing absolutely no signs of rolling from front to back either. I feel your pain @CremeDeSudo!

I used towels or blankets rolled into long sausage shapes under the sheet either side of DD until she was able to roll back.
They were far enough apart to allow wriggle room but having them there seemed to stop her trying to roll.
