Can I give my 18 month old a normal pillow?

Dd normally sleeps flat in her bed in her sleeping bag. Shes got an awful cough and cold though and struggling to sleep.

We are on my bed lying on about 6 pillows and she is finally sleeping.

Is it safe to just give her a spare adult pillow we have in the house? Had planned to get her a toddler one but she could do with a pillow now.....

Am aware this could be a daft question....

Yes as long as it's not too soft and squishy. My 2 got a fairly flat adult sized pillow from age 1

Yes, mine were in full size single beds with duvet and pillows at 18 months.
Toddler pillows are just normal pillows but smaller to fit a toddler bed.
