7 month old won’t take any milk! HELP!

Can anyone help me, my 7 month old son won’t take hardly any milk and I’m starting to worry. I’ve rang the HV who is going to weigh him in a few days. He will only take a 6oz bottle in the morning when he wakes and then I use some on his breakfast in the morning, he barely takes anything throughout the day even though I offer it to him and before bed he refuses it full stop! I’m really getting down about it as he isn’t the chunkiest of babies and the last time I had him weighed he had dropped to the 25th line and now I think he is probably bordering underweight 😔. Has anyone got any tips? I formula feed him by the way. He is being weaned and having three solid meals a day, I do try the milk before and after foods but it makes no difference. Any advise would be greatly appreciated x

I have tried reducing the meal size but as I say, I really don’t think it’s anything to do with that 😕

Don't stress as he us eating other foods. but keep a diary of food and formula ask to see community dietician. They can tell you how to get calcium etc in other foods.

It doesn't sound too bad, I'd try to get two 5-6oz bottles in, cereal with about 5oz then the rest from yoghurt/cheese and you're good really.

My son is the same, from 5 months he refused milk. He is now 7 months, I get a max of 13 oz in to him. That's it. I give him 3 varied meals a day. He's also cow's milk intolerance so in terms of cheese and yogs it throws a spanner in the works!!! There's no secret to getting the milk in other than mixing it with food. Sometimes I use the bottle to squeeze it in as he just CBA to suck the bottle. He has 2-3 oz 5 times a day . Cutting food out hasn't worked, neither has anything else. I give him broccoli, meat and chickpeas for protein and iron calcium etc etc. I just gave up with the milk. I use a doidy cup and offer it to him for fluids x
