Hi all

I myself had pyloric stenosis when I was 3 weeks old and had surgery to correct it. So naturally have been on the lookout for any signs in my first baby who is now 8 weeks old. She has has 2 episodes of this at 6 weeks and since then has probably had about 3-4 more episodes. But it is never twice in the same day, majority of bottles are kept down. I did go to gp who sent me to hospital but they said no indication to do bloods do asses for pyloric stenosis as she is keeping down majority of feeds.

She had another episode this evening and I know it's the kind of thing you either have or don't and have been reassured. However it's really upsetting when she does this and just wondered has anyone had any experience of this?

Yes, DS used to randomly projectile vomit a couple of times a week. Usually if he's had too much milk too quickly. He also had reflux so not sure if that affected it.
Anyway definately got better at 5/6 months and now at 8 months he rarely vomits and hasn't projectiled since 5 months.
