child being disrespectful to dad

my 3 year old is very disrespectful to his dad all the time he shouts at him tells him to get out pinches his face and bites him he will do this in company and when we re on our own husband at a loss as to what to do i have to be the one who steps in all the time i know i should leave husband deal with it but he cant or wont. really want this behaviour to stop
would love some suggestions on how to deal with it

Unfortunately the more yous ep in thw more your ds will belive that you are the superior one and that dh is a nobody...

DH has to assert authority on his son in his own way and you have to just sit and watch.

Fraid you know what to do. Tell DH how to handle it and that he has to even if he doesn't want to, then leave them to it. Also , never undermine DH in front of him. Always back up anything he says with Daddy is right, listen to Daddy, etc

3 yos are wiser than we think. Mine certainly listens to everything even if we think she's not.

Maybe your dh is not sure how to discipline your ds? The two of you could discuss this before hand, eg if ds is cheeky, first warn, then 3 mins time out, or toy taken from jar, or whatever works for you. Dh could than enforce it.

any advice on how to get my 3yr old to sleep through the night. he keeps waking up and getting into our bed.
