Any suggestions? Last year it was easier as it was the first one...I feel like I have already ran through the usual gift stuff by fathers day, bday etc

Thanks

Ooh what about a little plaster cast of his hand/foot, you can get the kits that come with little frames and messages.

The Alessi Snowdaddy is a candle holder shaped like a snowman daddy holding a baby. Mine was £17 on EBay.

What about something that can be useful in terms of security?

I'm watching with great interest as I'm having the same dilemma, I have been through all the engraved, photo frames, key rings, mugs, canvas etc etc

Fabaunt · 29/11/2018 12:30

Something the dad might like? What’s he into? Music? Golf?

Jellybabie3 · 29/11/2018 12:53

I'm following intently. I was just going to get some daddy socks I think!

I've just bought the usborne busy train book for ds to give his dad... they will both enjoy playing with it.
For DHs birthday last month I got DS to give him a voucher for a toddler session at the local trampoline park

buckeejit · 29/11/2018 13:01

I got dh a swiss army knife engraved with his initials 9 years ago. He loves it & its used often

Jellybabie3 · 29/11/2018 19:22

Hmm i got him a 'daddy' book last year but maybe i can find a different book they can share. So tough!

What about a photocollage of nice pictures of them together? Or one big canvas print xx

tablelegs · 29/11/2018 19:28

The personalised peppa pig my daddy book.

Fabric paint handprints on hankies or T shirt.

I’ve been looking on not on the high street but they’re quite expensive! I’m thinking of maybe getting a metal personalized token, can anyone recommend where to buy one from please? Or I like the look of the jars with wooden tokens in that are personalized but £30 is a bit steep, I’ve already spent a fortune so wanted something not too expensive. Also, I would make something if I could but I’m not artistic (or patient) enough!

PinkDaydreams · 29/11/2018 20:47

Just come across tinytelegram.com but not sure if it’s any good? You send a tiny message in a bottle which looks like a nice idea. Tried finding reviews on trustpilot but can’t seem to find them. I really like the idea but wary as haven’t heard of them

Jellybabie3 · 01/12/2018 07:20

Thanks all for your suggestions. I have also looked at not on the high street and agree with pp that everything is quite pricey! Its so tricky this year as we are cutting back and decided we wouldnt buy anything thay didnt serve a purpose and wasnt bought 'just because'. I do feel like I have worn out all the personalised stuff too which is shocking as ds is only 1 Aargh

I'm in a similar situation with a football loving gamer, and I've seen this online.

Thought DH could play with DD and show her all the old school retro games he grew up with, and they can (hopefully) play together.

Then buy him tickets to go to a match or whatever and that and the time off is his present
