Mesh bumper for solid end gliding crib??

I ordered the crib one but it's for a crib with slats the whole way round and wouldn't fit safely.

Could I order the cot version and wrap it? Google is not my friend on this one!!!

Do you need a bumper at all? I've never used one

I don't like bumpers, u don't need one and I don't think they r safe..

It's the mesh breathable one I'm looking at. She keeps getting her arms bashed and throws her dummy out!

Mesh bumpers are still a strangulation hazard. They can get pulled off and the baby can become tangled.

They are still not recommended as babies have died with them attached to their cots.

They soon learn to stop banging themselves. Alternatively put a few dummies in the cot with her so even if she throws one there is another one close by: I usually have 2 or 3 in my sons cot in various places :)

Thanks all. I'll order more dummies instead. I thought they were the safer version.

My dc has one of these to keep their dummy accessible in the night, he quickly learnt to cuddle it and use his hands to find his dummy. Would something like that be an option? I agree that bumpers are dangerous.
